The funny things is the Edmonton journal has an article titled "Predators to loosen pursestrings".

He is trotz's little pet, he won't sit, he will probably be granted more ice time. I'm thinking trotz will give him more ice time to hone his skills at sucking.

The Tennessean is a mouthpiece for the Titans, hence the nickname " Titansean". There are a few people there who dislike the Preds because they have been much more successful than the Titans for the last several years; the author of the article Paul is referring to being one of them.

In the article, the author calls the management fee the city pays to the team for managing the arena (which has been in place since the arena was built) as money the city "gives" to the Preds rather than a fee owed for services rendered. In contrast, the city also paid for the Titan's stadium and is paying for upgrades to the stadium this summer. You won't find one article talking about taxpayer subsidies for the Titans, even though they have printed articles about the stadium upgrades.

The agenda is clear to anyone who knows the facts of each situation, but if you just read the articles and take them at face value, you would think the Titans are a huge benefit to the city, while the Preds suck money from the taxpayers every chance they get.

Wow these boards are normally alive but any-whoo not a bad first period,great pass by #8. Could be worse, o' and Leggy is 1-2 in the circle so hes doing a little better

They are playing like they already won and they are getting their collective asses handed to them. Weber and trotz should have lite a fire under their butts before the start of the game. We cannot get into a shoot out (not speaking of overtime) with this team

Why wasn't that goal tender interference on that goal?
